The lodge is fantastic, set against beautiful Grand Lake and the incredible mountains. The rooms were clean (and I’m a tough critic), and Jason is the nicest guy who manages the entire grounds with care and attention. 11/10, highly recommend!
Handy little kitchen, comfy bed, clean bathroom and shower. Nice deck for watching the lake, rabbits, squirrels, hummingbirds and eagles. Loved getting up early, grabbing a cup of coffee and sitting on the deck as the sun comes up. It’s not the Ritz, but it’s close to town and easy to get to. Price is right. I’d do it again next time I’m here.
North Shore Lodge is located on Granby Lake. It has a beautiful view of the lake with the mountains surrounding the lake. It was wonderful to sit on the deck in the evening and morning to watch the sunset and sunrise. Very nice stay. Thanks to Jason for taking good care of us and the other guest.
Jason and the team at North Shore Lodge were fantastic and attentive to our group. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had your basic essentials. An easy drive to both Granby and Grand Lake for extras, shopping, food, and hiking was a huge plus.
If you’re looking for a place with great service and an unbeatable location this is it! We have stayed many times and have always received impeccable customer service from Jason. The larger suites are perfect for a group trip and very reasonably priced. Always clean and comfortable. I love the fact that there is a stocked kitchen in every room! Jason makes sure we have everything we need and is always going the extra mile to make sure our stay is the best it can be. We love being right on the water, weather it’s summer or winter! We love ice Fishing and being able to leave right from the lodge and straight out onto the ice is very convenient. In the summer we have rented a pontoon boat from the dock right down the block and it was amazing! We will continue to return to North Shore Lodge again and again!
I have been to North Shore Lodge many times, and for good reason. First of all there is Jason, the manager of the lodge. The lodge looks great, is very clean, and he's very easy to communicate with. Second, the location is phenomenal with awesome views. It sits right on Lake Granby and there are canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards for your entertainment on the water. At night you can gather by the fire pit and enjoy a beautiful starry evening. This place has such a relaxing vibe and I'm sure you will enjoy your stay.
Great lodge for the practical. The rooms are immaculate, everything you’d need for an extended stay. The lodge Manager is personal and available - you can call and actually speak with him! There are yard activities available like volleyball and horseshoes (and no, you don’t have to pay extra!). It’s a fine retreat and I hope it stays ‘west’ and doesn’t go with the Vail Resorts model, can’t drive through the Winter Park eyesore and craziness to get here fast enough.
So happy we decided to stay at North Shore Lodge! It is very family friendly with plenty of backyard games, paddle boards, kayaks, and even tetherball. We barely left the property since our 8 and 5 year old had everything they needed to enjoy the lake right there. Jason was friendly, easy to get a hold of and knowledgeable. The room was clean and had all basic kitchen supplies to make cooking onsite easy. We can’t wait for our next visit!
